Since 2015 we have raised $318,000 across our Hedge Funds Rock events for Redkite, the Australian cancer charity providing essential support to children and young people (0–24 years) with cancer, and the family and support network who care for them. These funds have enabled young people and their families to cope with the many challenges they experience due to their cancer diagnosis. It includes practical support such as paying the bills, paying for groceries and paying for educational support and also essential counselling support for the young person and their whole family.

 

From 2019 onward, the Foundation is proud to support Redkite's Education and Career Support program. Redkite helps young people with cancer by providing them with critical education and career services including grants and individualised support sessions. Our targeted support of this program will enable young people to catch up with study, re-engage them in the workforce, find alternative pathways or new goals and provide valuable training to empower them to build the best possible future for themselves beyond their cancer journey.
